The farm is managed by a father and his two daughters, who work together to take care of the truffle orchards. They will explain how they train and work with their dogs to search for truffles, and how important the relationship between the dog and the farmer is. We will also discover the amount of work involved behind the scenes: maintaining the trees, protecting the soil, and patiently waiting for the right season to harvest these precious “black diamonds.” It’s a wonderful opportunity to understand the passion, tradition, and dedication that surround truffle farming.
