In.Morning 9:00 am pick up from your preferred departure point then drive 110km North of Addis Ababa, Over The Entoto Mountains passing through the sululta plains to the 13 Century Monastery Debre Libanos founded in the13th Century by Ethiopian saint Abuna Tekle Haynanot it’s Considered to be one of the most Holiest Religious Site to Orthodox Pilgrimage, over looking to the Jemma River Gorge, one of the Tributary of the Mystic Blue Nile River. Hiking in the breathtaking Jemma Valley and Goro river waterfall here we spot endemic Gelada baboons and a Number of Bird Life Followed by we stop over the 16th century Portuguese Bridge Erected by the Portuguese by the 16th Century and it was actually Built at the turn of the 19th Century by Ethiopian Albeit in the Old Portuguese Style. epic scenery view of Jemma River Gorge is spectacular . At the end of our trip we will have lunch with a typical Ethiopian traditional coffee Ceremony On the top of the Beautiful View Ethio-German

Portuguese Bridge

Portuguese Bridge constructed in the 17th century either by Indian or Portuguese masons before the expulsion of the Jesuits in 1633, or later in the same century during the subsequent Gondarine period. If indeed the bridge is no more than little over a century old - rather than four centuries or so old - it would still remain as an impressive testimony to masonry skills enduring in the country that were inherited from the much earlier Gondarine period.From bank to bank it is 33 metres long ten metres high above the perennial stream, and of three arches. The largest and central arch spans two large boulders, pillars which nature has helpfully provided across the stream bed. Low castellations line the 2.75 metre roadway on top. So skilfully has the bridge been built that, in places, it is hard to see where its masonry meets with the natural rock beneath.

DebreLibanos is a monastery in ethiopia lying north west of addis abeba in oromia region. The monastery founded in the 13th century by Saint Tekle Haimanot . along with the side of the church you will cross a river and proceed on foot a hill for about 15minutes . According to legend the ethiopian saint tekle haimanot prayed for 29 years, he stood on one foot for so long that the other foot fell off. In here people queue to receive a holy water which is belived to be sign of the saints prayer .
