What you can expect

We start our journey from Lake Garda aboard a comfortable, air-conditioned coach, accompanied by a professional tour leader. The drive to Mantua takes approximately 1.5 hours, with arrival expected around 10:30 AM.

Upon arrival, you will discover why Mantua—a true jewel of the Renaissance and the Italian Capital of Culture in 2016—is famous worldwide for its history, art treasures, and natural beauty. Your tour leader will guide you on a short orientation walk to immerse you in the city's unique atmosphere, followed by an included guided visit to the fascinating Virgil Museum (Museo di Virgilio). Afterwards, you will enjoy about 2 hours of free time to explore the historic squares at your own pace, relax, or taste some local delicacies.

At 2:30 PM, we board the coach and head towards Peschiera del Garda. Here, at 3:30 PM, you will embark on a spectacular 2-hour boat cruise. The boat will head towards Sirmione, allowing you to admire the famous Grotte di Catullo, Jamaica Beach, and the Boiola sulphur spring directly from the water. We will not dock in Sirmione, but the boat will make a special stop right here in the open water to give you the chance to enjoy a refreshing swim!

A perfect way to discover the history of Mantua and the beauty of Lake Garda all in one unforgettable day. After the cruise, the coach will take you back to your initial departure points.
