Embark on an immersive half-day tour of heritage, local delicacies, and untouched nature!
Your adventure begins in Chanaz, nicknamed the Little Venice of the Alps, with a guided visit of its flower-filled streets, picturesque canals, and rich heritage. Along the way, discover the history of this charming village on the banks of the Rhône, its traditions, and the stories that make up its identity. Please note: Some cobbled alleys and waterfront accesses may require good mobility.
After this walk, it's time for local flavours with a visit to a traditional walnut oil mill that is still in operation. Watch a production demonstration before tasting an artisan oil with delicate aromas, a true Savoyard speciality.
The day trip continues with a guided cruise tour on the Savières Canal and Lake Bourget, the largest natural lake in France. For about 1 hour and 15 minutes, let yourself be carried away by the beauty of the landscapes, discover the history of this unique waterway, and, with a little luck, observe herons, swans, beavers, or the fish that inhabit these waters.
Throughout the day, your local live guide will share anecdotes, historical explanations, and tips with you to help you discover Savoie in a different way.
Note: the cruise tour ticket is to be paid directly to the cruise company on the day of the excursion (€14.50 per adult).
A friendly and authentic getaway, ideal for discovering one of the most beautiful gems of Savoy, combining culture, gastronomy, and exceptional landscapes.
