Your adventure begins in Chanaz, nicknamed the Little Venice of the Alps, with a guided visit of its flower-filled streets, picturesque canals, and rich heritage. Along the way, discover the history of this charming village on the banks of the Rhône, its traditions, and the stories that make up its identity. After this walk, it's time for local flavours with a visit to a traditional walnut oil mill that is still in operation. Watch a production demonstration before tasting an artisan oil with delicate aromas, a true Savoyard speciality.

The day trip continues with a guided cruise tour on the Savières Canal and Lake Bourget, the largest natural lake in France. For about 1 hour and 15 minutes, let yourself be carried away by the beauty of the landscapes, discover the history of this unique waterway, and, with a little luck, observe herons, swans, beavers, or the fish that inhabit these waters.
