This is an annual retreat hosted by Bodhi Greens by Chef Varun.
A typical day during your 3/5 day retreat will look like this:
Yoga & Breathwork: At Nature to Nutrition, your mornings will begin with this. We will approach yoga in a holistic way to ensure overall well-being. Replenish yourself on a psychosomatic level with techniques such as Mobility Morning, Vinyasa Flow, Breathwork, Yoga Nidra, and Stretch & Hip Opening.
Nature Immersions: This will be your outlet to connect to nature through hiking, nature walks, foraging, and journaling in nature. Deepen your relationship with the source of your food, that is, nature, and nourish your body and mind.
Mindfulness & Emotional Wellbeing: We have a host of psychotherapists at your disposal for your emotional support. Bring your inner child to the surface with exercises and games, including journaling, art, play, movement, and writing. Moreover, we will help you nurture self-trust with integrated psychotherapy techniques such as morning pages, gratitude journaling, and affirmations.
Learn Nutrition Basics & Cooking: Last but definitely not least, this will be the biggest takeaway of the retreat. Along with getting to work hands-on with organic ingredients and recipes, you will yield the power to incorporate essential nutrients in your future diet through understanding food groups. Most importantly, you will enlighten yourself with the knowledge of the gut—our body's second brain, and how probiotics and prebiotics impact overall well-being.
