Explore the Dian Fossey Museum (Karisoke Research Centre) and see the living memory of the enthusiastic primatologist, conservationist, and environmentalist.

Travel from Kigali to the museum in Musanze, Northwestern Rwanda. The museum offers an insight into Rwanda’s mountain gorilla conservation and protection success storey. It is also referred to as the Karisoke Exhibit, a perfect area where enthusiastic primate travellers can get facts about the success storey of gorilla protection and conservation.

The Dian Fossey Museum was founded by the Karisoke Research Centre. This research centre was initially operated by the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund International. The research centre and gorilla fund were founded in remembrance of Dian Fossey. The museum offers an interactive look at gorilla conservation and she established the research centre to help.
