Discover why Salt Lake City is a hidden gem worth exploring on this private walking tour of city centre.
Along the way, I'll tell you of the history of Salt Lake City, from the indigenous tribes that call these lands home, to the trappers and explorers, and the Mormon pioneers who settled here in 1847. Since then, the Salt Lake City continues to see rapid growth and development to become a modern and diverse city.
This tour takes you past old and modern architecture, including historic buildings on Main Street. After a short bus ride, we'll reach the Utah State Capitol for a tour inside this marvellous building, and magnificent views of greater Salt Lake City.
From the capitol building our walk will continue along State Street to Temple Square. Here you'll learn about the history of historic buildings including the Beehive, Lion House, and the Salt Lake Temple.
This 3-hour walking tour ends where it started, at 123 S. Temple Street.
