What you can expect

Djoudj National Park is the third largest bird reserve in the world. It is located 65 km north of Saint-Louis. The drive takes 1.5 hours. The road is being rebuilt, and soon there will be fewer kilometres to travel. There are more than 365 species in the park. 90% are migratory birds from October to April, which is the peak season. April-May, low season. Birds, mammals, reptiles. Half-day and full-day tours are organised. The tour is by canoe, and the rest is by car and on foot.
