Hikers on this trail can view ancient petroglyphs etched into the rock. Elders of the Becher Bay First Nation share a legend about one carving, a giant seal believed to be an elephant seal. They say this creature served as a "game-warden," safeguarding ocean species from overfishing. On warm days it is possible to cool off with a dip in the ocean (pack sandals!).
