We will begin the adventure first thing in the morning with the pick up at the hotels in El Calafate. From there, we will begin our trip to El Chaltén, a picturesque mountain town known as the National Trekking Capital, located 220 km away.
On the way, we will cross the majestic Santa Cruz River and make a special stop at the historic Estancia La Leona, on the banks of the river of the same name. This charming spot is ideal for stretching your legs, enjoying a bath break and indulging in local food and drink options.
Back on the route, if the weather is good, we will stop at the Mirador del Glaciar Viedma, where the panoramic views of the imposing Viedma Glacier, Cerro Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre will leave you breathless. A unique opportunity to admire the immensity of Patagonian nature!
Upon arriving in El Chaltén, our guides will accompany you on a tour of this charming town located within the Los Glaciares National Park. Here we will take two accessible but magical walks:
Mirador de los Cóndores: A strategic walk to try to spot condors in their natural habitat, with unforgettable views of Fitz Roy, Cerro Torre and the town framed by dreamlike landscapes.
Chorrillo del Salto: After a delicious homemade lunch in a typical local restaurant (depending on the option chosen), we will enter this path that culminates in a spectacular waterfall surrounded by a unique natural environment.
