Begin your day by boarding a bus at the Enshi Passenger Station and travel to the Enshi Grand Canyon. Upon arrival, exchange your ticket and enter the park.
First, head to the Yunlong Ground Fissure, a stunning U-shaped canyon. Walk along the path and admire the Rainbow Waterfall and the cliff stream. If you visit in the afternoon, you might even catch a double rainbow.
Take a break for a simple lunch in the park before continuing to the Qixingzhai Scenic Area. Ride a cable car up the mountain, saving an hour of uphill climbing.
Once at the top, see the Welcoming Pine, walk along the 488-meter-long cliffside walkway, and admire the Yizhu Xiang landmark. Continue to the Mother and Son Deep Love landmark before taking the escalator down the mountain, avoiding the 688 steep steps.
Finally, take the park shuttle back to the visitor centre and return to the city. Enjoy a local dinner and explore the Tujia Daughter City at night, where you can watch folk performances and try local specialities like Enshi small potatoes, cured pig's trotters, and Zhangguan Hezha.
