Day 1: Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Begin your adventure with a Pickup From Entebbe International Airport. Enjoy a scenic drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, stopping for coffee and photos at the Equator. Pass through villages and lush green tea estates, taking in breathtaking views of the park as you approach the escarpment.
Have lunch along the way or at the lodge, depending on the timing. After checking in, take a walk to explore the nearby village and crater lake, time permitting. In the evening, relax and enjoy the stunning views from the lodge.
Day 2: Game Drive and Kazinga Channel Cruise
Start your day with an early breakfast before heading out for a morning game safari at 7:00 AM. During the safari, you can expect to see the famous Big Five, elephants, and other mammals such as giant forest hogs, bushbucks, kobs, hyenas, and waterbucks.
In the afternoon, at around 3:00 PM, prepare for a launch cruise along the Kazinga Channel. During this cruise, you will be able to see large numbers of elephants, hippos, buffalos, and crocodiles. Additionally, you may spot various bird species, including the rare shoebill.
After the boat tour, enjoy a short evening game drive before being transferred back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Chimpanzee Tracking and Return to Kampala
After enjoying an early breakfast, depart for Kalinzu Forest at 6:00 AM for chimpanzee tracking. This is a unique opportunity to observe our closest relatives in their natural habitat as they play, swing from tree branches, and compete for food.
Following the chimpanzee tracking, embark on an exciting road trip back to Kampala, with a stop for lunch at the Equator. Arrive in the late evening and be dropped off at your hotel.
