A bike tour from Estepona to Marbella is a beautiful route along the Costa del Sol coastline that takes you through charming villages, along beachfront promenades, and through stunning coastal landscapes. The route is approximately 43.5 miles (70 km) return and is suitable for both recreational cyclists and more competitive riders who want to enjoy the coastline to the fullest.
The tour route is mostly flat and easy to cycle, with well-maintained bicycle paths running along the coast. There are a few shorter climbs, especially between Estepona and San Pedro, but they are not very challenging.
Wear light, comfortable clothing and don't forget sun cream and sunglasses. It's also a good idea to bring plenty of water, as the sun in Andalucia can be very strong.
This bike tour offers a wonderful mix of coastal scenery, leisurely beachfront promenades, and the charm of Puerto Banús and Marbella. You can fully enjoy both the natural beauty and the glamour of the Costa del Sol.
You will marvel at the port of Estepona, the old town of Estepona, the beautiful promenade of Estepona, and some of Estepona's highlights, including a tour of the villa that once belonged to Gaddafi and a visit to the location where Cristiano Ronaldo owns a luxurious penthouse.
Great beach bars line our route on the way to Puerto Banús, and the stunning beach promenade in San Pedro de Alcantara is perfect for taking fantastic photos.
Afterwards, we will be almost at the modern and luxurious Puerto Banús Marina, with all its glitz and glamour.
Passing by the Roman Bridge, beautiful stretches of beach, and the Marbella Club, we will soon reach Marbella City and its unique Old Town, where we will take in the Marbella Arch and Plaza Salvador Dalí.
Your guide will also show you the “most beautiful squat” in Marbella, an absolute insider tip.
To round off the tour, we invite you to enjoy a pleasant tapas session, either on the wonderful beach promenade or in San Pedro de Alcantara.
A basic level of fitness is recommended, as the distance of approximately 43–47 miles (70–75 km) should not be underestimated.
