ETH Zurich’s main building is one of the most striking structures of Zurich. Designed by Gottfried Semper, the colossal edifice has been towering above the city since the 1860s. Let us take you on a tour of its maze-like corridors, the impressive main
hall and the opulent Semper auditorium. The highlight of the tour is a trip to the roof terrace, where you can take in sweeping views over Zurich’s old town. You will be following in the tracks of Albert Einstein, who studied at ETH Zurich and later assumed a professorship here. Quite apart from all the tradition, you will also experience the ETH main building as a modern, extremely vibrant study and research site. Come in!
