Teotitlán del Valle, in Oaxaca, is famous for the elaboration of handmade wool rugs using ancestral pedal loom techniques. This tradition, passed down through generations, reflects the rich Oaxacan culture and respect for the environment. Visiting the town is an excellent opportunity to learn about this artisanal process and purchase unique rugs made by the talented local weavers.
