Playlab is the new area dedicated to children aged 3 to 6, offering them a new way to experience the museum. An invitation to play, invent, imagine, and tell stories.
The space is organised into four areas designed to encourage collaboration and sharing among all participants, including adults.
Art installations, exploration activities, games, and construction allow visitors to immerse themselves in fun experiences where art and science come together. With the help of the museum staff, everyone can explore the shapes, materials, and sounds of nature, use their imagination and storytelling to learn about surprising historical objects in the collections, build a fantasy world with lots of unstructured materials, and play with light and shadows between the analogue and digital worlds.
Here, children and their companions can move around freely.
To enter Playlab and participate in the activities, at least one adult must be present.
The activity lasts 75 minutes, including travel and preparation time. Shoes cannot be worn inside and food cannot be consumed inside.
The ticket includes daily entry for one adult and one child aged between 3 and 6 to the Leonardo da Vinci National Museum of Science and Technology.
