Since 1996, at Calima Surf we've been teaching much more than how to stand on a board: we teach you to experience the sea, to discover a new rhythm, to understand the sea, and to let the connection with nature transform your body and mind.

Experience five intense days of surfing.
Start each morning at our school, pick up your gear, and join our instructors in the water. In small groups, you'll learn at your own pace, with personalised attention and tips that will help you improve with each wave.

The experience goes far beyond technique. We want you to learn to read the sea, feel the energy of the waves, and respect the unique environment that makes Famara a magical place. Each lesson begins with a short briefing on safety and the basics of surfing, and then you move on to the water, where each wave becomes an opportunity for improvement. Our instructors will be by your side, correcting your movements, celebrating your progress, and teaching you to turn, glide, and enjoy the sense of freedom that only surfing can give.

Discover unique moments.
Tuesdays and Fridays are magical days: we'll do the Dry Surf Functional Balance session, an innovative on-land training that improves your balance and coordination, and take photos in the water so you can have souvenirs and analyse your progress. We recommend starting the course on those days to make the most of them.
