This guided hiking experience starts and ends in Amalfi, one of the most historic towns on the Amalfi Coast and a former Maritime Republic that shaped the trade and culture of the Mediterranean. The route follows the evocative Valley of the Mills, an ancient itinerary shaped by water, traditional craftsmanship, and centuries of human activity. The trail continues into the Ferriere Valley Nature Reserve, a protected area famous for its waterfalls, lush vegetation, and rare subtropical microclimate. Here you'll find the Woodwardia radicans, a prehistoric fern and precious botanical relic. The experience includes a picnic in the valley. Participants are encouraged to bring at least 1.5 litres of water, comfortable hiking shoes, trekking poles, a spare shirt, breathable clothing, a light jacket, and a hat.
