What you can expect

Embark on a 3-day journey from Fes to Agadir, taking you through some of Morocco’s most breathtaking landscapes, from the cultural richness of Fes to the golden dunes of the Merzouga Desert, and finally to the coastal city of Agadir. Along the way, visit ancient kasbahs, scenic valleys, and experience an unforgettable night in the Sahara.

Day 1: Fes → Ifrane → Midelt → Ziz Valley → Merzouga Desert
Begin your journey with a morning pickup from your accommodation in Fes. Drive towards Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco,” due to its unique alpine-style architecture. Visit the Cedar Forests of Azrou, home to the famous Barbary macaque monkeys.

Continue through the scenic Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping for lunch in Midelt. Drive through the lush Ziz Valley, known for its picturesque palm groves. Arrive in Merzouga, where you'll take a camel trek into the desert to witness the sunset over the Erg Chebbi dunes.

Experience a magical night in a a desert camp, including a traditional Moroccan dinner, Berber music, and stargazing.

Day 2: Merzouga Desert → Rissani → Todra Gorges → Dades Valley or Ouazazate
Wake up early to witness the stunning sunrise over the Sahara dunes. After breakfast at the camp, ride camels or take a 4x4 back to Merzouga village. Visit Rissani, a historical market town with a vibrant souk.

Travel to the spectacular Todra Gorges, famous for its towering canyon walls and rock formations. Continue to the Dades Valley, stopping at unique rock formations like the “Monkey Fingers” cliffs. Enjoy an overnight stay in a traditional guesthouse in the Dades Valley, including dinner and breakfast.

Day 3: Dades Valley → Ouarzazate → Ait Benhaddou → Agadir
Enjoy breakfast before driving through the Valley of Roses, known for its fragrant rose fields. Visit Ouarzazate, the “Hollywood of Morocco,” home to Atlas Film Studios. Explore the famous Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site featured in films like Gladiator and Game of Thrones.

After visiting Ait Benhaddou, continue to Agadir in a private taxi (included in your tour package). Arrive in Agadir in the late afternoon/evening, where you will be dropped off at your accommodation.
