The experience starts in Villa Angaran San Giuseppe, a scenic historic Villa where you will discover the connection between food, nature, and local culture through a hands-on focaccia-making workshop. The experience supports a social project that promotes inclusion and community through hospitality, agriculture, and culture that takes place in the Villa.
You will begin by meeting the villa's cook, who will introduce you to the techniques and traditions of Italian focaccia making. Under their guidance, you will prepare your dough from scratch using local ingredients.
While the dough is resting, you will explore the seasonal vegetable garden and learn about local herbs, edible flowers, and the ingredients that shape Italian food culture. You will gather and select natural elements that you will later use to decorate your focaccia.
Once the dough is ready, you will return to the kitchen to shape and decorate your focaccia, transforming it into an edible piece of art using the herbs and flowers collected from the garden.
At the end of the workshop, you will enjoy your freshly baked focaccia accompanied by a glass of local wine. Non-alcoholic drinks are also available.
No previous cooking experience is required-just curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to slow down and enjoy the moment.
