Take the City Tour in the Land of the Falls to learn more about the city and the stories of Foz do Iguaçu.
We will immerse ourselves in one of the largest Buddhist temples in South America, where you can learn more about the religion and see the 7-meter high statue of Maitreya Buddha. The Ksitigarbha Shrine is a 2-story building that has a predominance of Chinese architecture and is surrounded by 120 statues of Buddha Amitabha. The open-air temple makes you reach peace and harmony, a true invitation to meditation.
We will also go to the Omar Ibn Al-Khatab Arab Mosque, a place of reference for Muslims, founded in 1983 by the caliph who gives his name to the mosque, considered one of the most correct men in the history of Muslims. Its area is 1,248 m 2 and it has an oval prayer room. Its imposing towers called minarets are 31 metres high and previously they housed a light signal that was turned on 5 times a day to ask for prayer, today they are purely decorative and can be seen from afar. The mosque is built according to the Mihrab and faces Mecca.
At the end of the tour, we have a panoramic visit along the main avenues of the city, including Av. Brazil, and we headed towards the last stop: Chocolate Caseiro, one of the largest artisan and homemade chocolate stores in Latin America.
