What you can expect
Morning Departure:
Your delegate will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo or Giza at about 6:00 A.M. by air-conditioned car to head to Cairo International Airport to take the one-hour flight to Luxor. Flight tickets are included.
West Bank - Valley of the Kings:
Upon your arrival, your delegate will be waiting for you with our company sign to start your trip heading to the West Bank of Luxor to visit the Valley of the Kings, also known as the Valley of the Gates of the Kings. For a period of nearly 500 years from the 16th to 11th century BC, rock-cut tombs were excavated for the pharaohs and powerful nobles of the New Kingdom.
Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut:
Then move on to the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. The Temple of Hatshepsut is a mortuary temple built during the reign of Pharaoh Hatshepsut of the Eighteenth Dynasty of Egypt. Located opposite the city of Luxor, it is considered to be a masterpiece of ancient architecture. Its three massive terraces rise above the desert floor and into the cliffs of Deir al-Bahari.
Medinet Habu:
Next, move to Medinet Habu, where the burial temple of Ramses III can be found, one of the city's most important religious monuments. Its entrance is 63 metres wide and 22 metres tall and bears a representation of the Pharaoh himself punishing some prisoners.
Colossi of Memnon & Lunch:
Then move to the Colossi of Memnon where you will see the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III at the Colossi of Memnon, then stop for lunch at a local restaurant.
Felucca Ride on the Nile:
Next, sail on the Nile River in a traditional felucca sailing boat to discover the beauty of Luxor. Relax with a drink as you soak up the scenery.
East Bank - Karnak Temple:
You'll then head to the east bank to visit the biggest temple in Luxor, it's the Karnak Temple, dedicated to the god Amun, his wife Mut, and their son Khonsu.
Luxor Temple:
Next, move on to Luxor Temple. Built by Amenhotep III in the 18th Dynasty in the modern kingdom, the beautiful temple was completed by Ramses II.
Return to Cairo:
After finishing, you will be transferred to Luxor International Airport to take the one-hour flight to Cairo. Flight tickets are included.
Upon your arrival, our delegate will be waiting for you outside Cairo Airport. After meeting, you will be transferred to your hotel again in Cairo or Giza.
