What you can expect

Embark on an unforgettable day trip from Cali to Buenaventura, where you’ll experience the magic of whale watching.
Depart from the Intercontinental Hotel Cali at 5:30 AM and relax as you journey through breathtaking Andean tropical landscapes on your way to the Pacific coast. Upon arriving at Buenaventura’s port around 8:30 AM, board a speedboat ( 10:30 AM ) for an exhilarating ride. Feel the fresh ocean breeze as you head to Juanchaco and then on to the prime spots where humpback whales are most active in their natural habitat. After meeting the whales, due to National Park regulations, you will spend 30 minutes observing these magnificent creatures and other local marine fauna. You will return to Juanchaco to have lunch and enjoy time with the community. Around 4:00 p.m. you will take your boat back to Buenaventura where you will begin your journey to Cali, where you will arrive at approximately 8:00 p.m.
