What you can expect

Explore Mount Etna with a local naturalist guide on a 3-4 hour hike from 1,800 metres above sea level up to 2,400 metres. Take in the views of the large cauldron-like hollows, the Valle del Bove, and Calabria, as well as summit craters and the Jonic Coast.
Start your adventure with a pickup from one of the meeting points. Don’t worry about packing your own hiking shoes, jackets, and hiking poles, as all are included on the tour. Enjoy learning all about the local fauna, flora, and geology of the Mount Etna volcano.
Explore a small lava cave and walk in the middle of black lava rocks and craters. Break for lunch at 2,400 metres above sea level. Enjoy the silence of nature and the sounds of the volcano. Run downhill on the black lava sand and appreciate the beauty around you.
