Begin your day trip from Cluj with a drive to the Șipote Waterfall. Admire the lower part of the waterfall from the road before hiking to the upper part, a famous attraction that looks like a water curtain trickling from moss. Along the way, see an imposing mountain wall.

Next, drive to the Huda lui Papară Cave, an immense portal that goes into the mountain. Hike to its entrance and return, since you need special equipment to continue in the flooded cave. After that, visit an old wooden monastery nearby, surrounded by mountains.

Then, drive to the top of the mountain and savour a homemade sandwich with breathtaking panoramas. Afterwards, do a short hike to another beautiful waterfall called Dâlbina, that has a viewing platform. Finally, drive back to Cluj.
