We'll pick you up at the door of your hotel and take you in a comfortable and safe vehicle to the picturesque town of Carmelo, the birthplace of winemaking in Uruguay.
Accompanied by an experienced driver, you'll embark on this 1-hour journey while enjoying beautiful landscapes typical of Uruguay's countryside.
When you arrive in the city of Carmelo, you can take a must-do tour of the town's main sights, take unforgettable photos, and learn a little more about its history.
Then we'll continue to the small village of Colonia Estrella, home to the traditional family vineyards of Bodega El Legado. You'll be greeted by the owners themselves, and you'll be able to tour the vineyards, see the wine cellar, learn about the process of making their fine wines, visit the labelling room, and finally enjoy a platter of local cheeses and cold cuts paired with the delicious El Legado wines.

At the end of your experience, you will be safely returned to your hotel in Colonia del Sacramento.
