What you can expect

  • The adventure begins as we meet and board comfortable transport for a scenic drive through lush vegetation to an ancient Mayan ceremonial centre, abandoned for more than a thousand years.

    Our certified local guide will lead you through the ruins, sharing fascinating insights into Chacchoben’s history, culture, and significance. Along the way, we’ll also keep an eye out for local wildlife.

    After the visit, you’ll have some free time to use the facilities or browse for souvenirs. On our way back to the port, we’ll stop at a local fruit market, where you can taste a variety of fresh, locally grown fruits.

    If time allows, we can also drop you off at the beach. The beach facilities are free to use; you simply pay for anything you order at the restaurant.

    From the beach, local taxis can take you back to the port for $5 USD per person, cash only. The ride takes approximately 10 minutes, and this taxi fare is not included in the tour price.

    We’ll make sure you return on schedule and to the agreed drop-off point.
