Daily departure:
We will begin our trip with your pick-up from your hotel or accommodation in the city of Cusco, from 7:20 to 7:50 am. Then we will travel by van with our group to the Sacred Valley, considered one of the main legacies. of the Inca civilisation.
We will begin our journey through the mountains on the way to the town of Pisac. On the way we will make a stop in Taray, which is a beautiful tourist viewpoint, a place where we will have a panoramic view of the entire Sacred Valley.
Upon reaching the town we will ascend until we reach the Archaeological Site of Pisaq, which is built on top of a mountain.
Upon returning to the town of Pisac we will visit its picturesque artisan market in the area, the local residents are experts in working with minerals, we will be able to make some purchases in the place.
At noon, across the banks of the Vilcanota River, we will continue our trip to our restaurant in Urubamba, where we will taste a delicious and nutritious novo Andean buffet lunch, of exquisite Cusco cuisine.
After our lunch we will go to the Archaeological Site of Ollantaytambo, which in the time of the Incas was a tambo or place to rest, it is also the starting point to reach the Sanctuary of Machu Picchu. We will explore its most important stone buildings, such as: the large stone terraces, the Temple of the Sun and the fountain of the Princess Baths of the time.
Returning to Cusco we will go to Chinchero, we will visit a local community to visit its Textile Interpretation Centre and also get to know the Archaeological Centre of the place.
We will end the excursion by returning to the city of Cusco, the tour will end in the Plaza de San Francisco, around 18:30 p.m.
