What you can expect

DAY 1 - PICKUP NIGHT: HANOI - HA GIANG

  • From 7:30 to 8.30PM: Get picked up from your hotel or TripBestie Office in Hanoi Old Quarter & board a sleeper bus at 8:30PM
  • Arriving at our hostel in Ha Giang at around 4AM in the next morning, you'll get a comfortable dorm bed and sleep for a few hours more.

DAY 2 - LOOP DAY & NIGHT 1: HA GIANG – DONG VAN (B,L,D)

  • 8AM: Enjoy breakfast, meet your guide & fellow travellers, & be briefed on the Loop's thrilling route.
  • 9AM: Start Loop ride
  • Ride through breathtaking landscapes, including iconic Bac Sum Pass, Quan Ba Heaven Gate, Twin Mountains, and Can Ty Pass.
  • Enjoy lunch in Yen Minh then ascend Tham Ma Slope
  • Discover Hmong King's Palace.
  • Arrive in Dong Van ancient town, check in a cosy hotel
  • Indulge in a delicious dinner then freely explore the night at the town centre or loosen up yourself in melodies of live music with your fellows

DAY 3 - LOOP DAY & NIGHT 2: DONG VAN – DU GIA (B,L,D)

  • Freely visit bustling Dong Van market (Sunday) before breakfast at 8AM
  • Tackle legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass & witness breathtaking panoramas.
  • Descend into Nho Que River for a refreshing boat trip through Tu San Canyon
  • Enjoy lunch in Meo Vac then wind your way through Sa Li Pass to Lung Ho viewpoint.
  • Arrive at Du Gia village, enjoy your dinner, then freely gather with your fellow travellers, engaging in stories, laughter & live music

DAY 4 - LOOP DAY & NIGHT 3: DU GIA – NAM DAM (B,L,D)

  • Freely visit weekly Du Gia market (Saturday) before breakfast at 8AM
  • Take a refreshing dip in Du Gia Waterfall then ascend to Duong Thuong viewpoint
  • Enjoy lunch in Thai An
  • Marvel at Lung Tam viewpoint
  • Check in a homestay in Nam Dam village, discover local culture, cycle or walk around village, see rammed-earth houses, witness the traditional architecture of Dao ethnic group with their unique clay houses then have dinner in the homestay

DAY 5 - LOOP DAY 4: NAM DAM– HA GIANG (B,L)

  • Embark on a 2-kilometer hike to explore Lung Khuy Cave then discover the centuries-old tradition of linen weaving in Lung Tam village
  • Enjoy lunch in Thai An then continue your ride. Stop at a waterfall, then by a river while heading to Ha Giang city
  • 3:30PM: Arrive at the starting point in Ha Giang city and your Loop ends here.
    You can freshen up with a free shower

DAY 5 - DROPOFF NIGHT: HA GIANG- HANOI/NINH BINH/HA LONG/CAT BA/SAPA
If you’ve chosen the drop-off option to Hanoi, Ninh Binh, Ha Long, Cat Ba or Sapa, your Sleeper bus will pick you up from our hostel between 6:00-8:30 PM. If you've selected the “Drop-off in Ha Giang” option, your trip concludes here, no bus ticket is included.

NOTES:

  • UPGRADED options for ACCOMODATIONS, BUSES and MOTORBIKES are available. Detailed information will be provided upon enquiry or booking.
