Depending on your location, we will pick you up from your accommodation and begin the journey towards the west side of Crete.

09:50 | Skaleta – Short Stop
A brief stop for breakfast, coffee, or WC before continuing our drive across the island.

11:30 | Chania
Explore one of Crete’s most charming cities. Chania is divided into the Old Town, with its Venetian harbour, historic buildings, and narrow cobbled streets, and the more modern New Town. Enjoy your free time wandering through picturesque alleys, shopping for local products, visiting the famous lighthouse, or simply relaxing at a harbour café. This city’s rich mix of Venetian, Ottoman, and Greek architecture makes it a living museum.

13:45 | Departure from Chania
We head southeast through a scenic route towards Lake Kournas.

14:45 | Lake Kournas
Arrive at the only natural freshwater lake on Crete, a peaceful spot surrounded by hills and protected under the Natura 2000 network. Here, you can swim in clear waters, rent a paddle boat to explore, walk along the lakeshore, or simply unwind and enjoy lunch in a traditional lakeside taverna with a stunning view.

16:15 | Departure from Lake Kournas
We continue towards our final destination for the day: the historic town of Rethymno.

16:45 | Rethymno
Take a leisurely walk through the beautifully preserved Old Town of Rethymno. Discover Turkish minarets, Venetian mansions, narrow alleys, and the impressive Fortezza fortress. Enjoy some free time to shop, explore the harbour, or sip a drink in one of the many cosy cafés along the waterfront.

18:00 | Departure from Rethymno
We begin our journey back to Heraklion and the surrounding areas.
