You will be picked up at your hotel and depart for Caraz, located 70 km (43 miles) north of Huaraz. From there, we will take a dirt road that will lead us to Parón Lagoon, making a brief stop at the checkpoint to pay the entrance fees.

Once at the lagoon, you can enjoy the breathtaking scenery. You can take a short walk to the Parón viewpoint, where you will enjoy fantastic views of the lake and the mountains. The trail features a steep climb, reaching an elevation of 4,300 metres (14,108 feet), and is ideal for exploring the Andean wild flora. The turquoise waters of the lagoon make this place a spectacular destination.

There is also the option of a hike of approximately 40 minutes along a zigzagging trail with rocky sections, which leads to the viewpoint, where you can see the entire lagoon.

After enjoying the site and taking photographs, we will return via the same route to Caraz and continue on to Huaraz.
