What you can expect

Explore the coast of Oaxaca by visiting the community of Ventanilla,
famous for its lagoon, this small town is
located 1.5 hours from the bays of Huatulco. This place
is known for its strong commitment to protecting
of the ecosystem, including mangroves, crocodiles, birds, and
other native species like iguanas and white-tailed deer.
When you get to this community, you'll walk
about 15 minutes to board an
eco-friendly paddle boat. During the
tour of the Ventanilla lagoon, you'll have the
chance to get a closer look at the incredible
biodiversity of the place, mainly crocodiles in
their natural habitat. We'll stop at a small
island where you'll have the chance to visit a UMA
(environmental management unit), get to know the
conservation work they do, check out the crocodile
of crocodiles and taste traditional snacks in a
natural environment (cost not included in the tour).

After this fascinating experience, we'll head over
to the La Escobilla Ecotourism Centre, where you'll be part of a
magical moment releasing baby sea turtles towards
the beach. Local guides will explain the importance of
this conservation project and they'll show you the best way
best way to release the turtles. You can
even name your baby turtle and
accompany it as it begins its journey to the Pacific
Pacific Ocean.
