Itinerary
Day 1: Ica - Huacachina - Ica
At the indicated time we will pick you up at your hotel in Ica.
Afterwards, we will take a guided tour through the centre of Ica to learn about the history of this city and its most iconic places. We will walk around the Plaza de Armas, see the Cathedral and visit the Casa de las Tejas. Next, we will go to the Huacachina lagoon to see its landscapes and visit a local winery, where we will enjoy a tasting of piscos and wines.
Afterwards, we will return to Huacachina Lagoon, a beautiful natural oasis in the middle of the Peruvian desert. Here, we will release adrenaline with a fun buggy ride and some sandboarding.
We will end the day by dropping you off at the hotel so you can rest and have dinner on your own.
Day 2: Ica - Paracas - Ballestas Islands - Ica
After breakfast at the hotel, we will head for the Paracas pier. From there, we will embark on a peaceful crossing of the Pacific Ocean to the Ballestas Islands.
From the boat, we will contemplate the coastline of the Paracas peninsula, where we will appreciate the shapes of the mysterious geoglyph of El Candelabro. The maritime route will then continue to the Ballestas Islands. In this archipelago we will see guano birds, Humboldt penguins and dolphins.
We will conclude the trip by visiting a sea lion conservation centre at the Paracas dock. We will leave you 30 minutes free before continuing with a land tour of the Paracas National Reserve. We will visit the viewpoint of the Paracas Peninsula and the beaches of Roja, Lagunillas and Yumaque.
We will finish the tour leaving you in Ica after two days of great enjoyment.
