Start your day with an unforgettable ocean adventure along the beautiful northern coast of Zanzibar. This experience combines dolphin spotting, snorkelling in crystal-clear waters, and relaxing at one of the most scenic sandbanks near Mnemba Atoll .

Your trip begins in the morning with pickup by motorboat from Nungwi or Kendwa Beach. Pickup times are arranged depending on your hotel location and may start from 08:00 a.m. If you are staying within Nungwi or Kendwa, pickup is included directly from the nearest beach to your hotel.

For guests staying outside these areas, the meeting point will be at Mama Mia Restaurant at 08:20 a.m.

After departure, we cruise along the coastline while searching for wild dolphins in their natural habitat. If we are lucky enough to find them, you will have the opportunity to swim near these incredible animals while respecting responsible wildlife guidelines.

We then continue the journey towards the protected waters surrounding Mnemba Island, one of Zanzibar’s most famous snorkelling locations. Here you will enjoy snorkelling around the coral reefs of Mnemba Atoll, where you can discover colourful tropical fish, coral formations, and crystal-clear turquoise water.

Please note that Mnemba Island itself is a private island, and visitors are not allowed to go onto the beach of the island. All snorkelling activities take place in the surrounding atoll waters.

After snorkelling, we may cruise to the famous Mnemba Disappearing Sandbank. This beautiful sandbank appears only during low tide. If the tide conditions allow, you will have time to relax on the white sand, swim in the shallow water, enjoy fresh fruits or snacks, and take memorable photos with the stunning view of Mnemba Island in the background.

If the tide is high and the sandbank is not visible, we will instead stop at Muyuni Beach or Jomba Beach, where you can relax, enjoy fruits/snacks, and take a break by the ocean.

At around 12:30 p.m., we begin cruising back towards Nungwi or Kendwa and drop you off at the nearest beach to your hotel or Meeting point Mama Mia Restaurant Nungwi.
