    Begin your journey at 6:30 AM from your accommodation, then walk slowly around Khao Sok village and through the national park. Early morning is the best time for birdwatching.

    Possible sightings include the great hornbill, gray-capped pygmy woodpecker, chestnut-breasted malkoha, black-and-red broadbill, orange-headed thrush, vernal hanging parrot, red-bearded bee-eater, rufous-collared kingfisher, scarlet-rumped trogon, and seasonal migratory birds such as the Asian paradise flycatcher.
