Start your outdoor adventure with a convenient pickup from Kiruna and journey to the hamlet of Kalixforsbron. Here you'll meet your guide and get introduced to the huskies who'll be doing all the heavy lifting for the evening.
Get dressed in the winter clothing provided for you and listen as your guide provides detailed instructions on how to handle and harness the dogs, and how to steer your sleigh. Then, set out into the dark to experience the wintry landscape.
Get pulled safely through the countryside and marvel at the snow-covered marshland as you zip past tall trees and over frozen lakes. With a bit of luck, you'll also be able to experience the aurora borealis dancing in the night sky above.
At the end of your husky trek, head back to the base camp in Kalixforsbron and warm up around an open fire in a traditional Nordic tipi. Sip a warm cup of coffee or tea and enjoy a tasty Swedish fika before hopping back into a van for your return transfer to Kiruna.
