What you can expect

Day 01: Arrival at Kochi
On arrival at Kochi (Cochin) airport/railway station, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Kochi – covering the Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church, Santa Cruz Basilica, Marine Drive, and the iconic Chinese Fishing Nets. In the evening, you may enjoy an optional Kathakali dance performance. Overnight stay at Kochi.

Day 02: Kochi – Munnar (130 km / 04 hrs.)
After breakfast, drive to Munnar, a breathtaking hill station famous for its rolling tea plantations, misty valleys, and waterfalls. En route, stop at Valara and Cheeyappara waterfalls. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and spend the evening at leisure. Overnight stay at Munnar.

Day 03: Munnar Sightseeing
After breakfast, set out for a full-day sightseeing tour of Munnar. Visit: Eravikulam National Park – home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr.
Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, and Kundala Lake.
Tea Museum and lush tea estates where you can witness tea processing.
Return to your hotel in the evening. Overnight stay at Munnar.

Day 04: Munnar – Thekkady (110 km / 3.5 hrs.)
After breakfast, proceed to Thekkady, known for the famous Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. On arrival, check-in at the hotel and later enjoy a boat cruise on Periyar Lake, where you can spot elephants, bison, deer, and exotic bird species along the lake’s banks. Optional activities include a spice plantation visit, Kalaripayattu (martial art) show, or an elephant ride. Overnight stay at Thekkady.

Day 05: Thekkady – Alleppey (140 km / 4 hrs.)
After breakfast, drive to Alleppey, the “Venice of the East,” famous for its palm-fringed canals and backwaters. On arrival, board your traditional Kerala houseboat (Kettuvallam).
Cruise through tranquil lagoons, lush paddy fields, coconut groves, and village hamlets while enjoying freshly prepared Kerala cuisine on board.
Overnight stay in the houseboat, experiencing the unique charm of Kerala’s backwaters.

Day 06: Alleppey – Kochi (55 km / 1.5 hrs.)
After breakfast on the houseboat, disembark and drive back to Kochi. You will be transferred to Kochi airport/railway station for your onward journey, carrying unforgettable memories of your Kerala backwater tour.
