What you can expect

  • Discover some of Antequera's greatest natural, historical, and monumental treasures on a full-day excursion from Málaga and the Costa del Sol.

    Start the day by travelling to El Torcal de Antequera, one of the most unique landscapes in the province of Málaga. Accompanied by an expert guide, you'll take a moderate-level, circular trekking route of approximately 2 hours among its stunning karst formations.

    During the hike, you'll discover some of the most distinctive rock formations in this landscape, such as El Tornillo, El Sombrerillo, and El OVNI, while learning about the unique features of this spectacular natural environment.

    Then continue on to Antequera's historic centre, where you'll take a guided visit lasting approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Visit some of its most iconic sites, such as the Mirador de las Almenillas vantage point, the Arco de los Gigantes (Arch of the Giants), the surroundings of the Real Colegiata de Santa María la Mayor (Royal Collegiate Church of Santa María la Mayor), Plaza de Santa María, and Plaza de San Sebastián.

    During the tour, you'll also be able to admire the views of the Peña de los Enamorados, one of the most iconic landscapes of Antequera.

    After the guided visit, enjoy about 2 hours of free time to have lunch, stroll through the streets, or continue exploring the city at your own pace.
