Start with a pickup from your accommodation around midnight. Head to Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park and stop at Jemplang for ticket checks.

Continue to Sunrise View Point, located at 2,200 metres above sea level, between Pananjakan 1 and Lemah Pasar. From its high vantage point, enjoy the golden sunrise over Bromo with Mount Batok and Mahameru, the peak of Mount Semeru, in the background.

Next, visit Pura Luhur Poten, a Hindu temple located under the foot of Mount Bromo. This temple is the centre of religious activities of the majority Tengger tribe who are Hindu. Walk 200 metres from the car park area to reach the temple.

Continue to the Bromo crater, which is 2 kilometres from the jeep car park. Climb approximately 250 stairs to reach the top.

Upon entering the Mount Bromo tourist area, be greeted by a vast expanse of sand. This expanse of sand is especially beautiful when viewed from the top of Penanjakan Hill, as it surrounds Mount Bromo. Don't forget to bring a mask during the dry season, as flying dust can disrupt your journey.

Finally, visit the Bromo savanna with a wide view before ending the trip.
