Upon arrival, enjoy a guided walking tour through Atlixco’s historic centre, exploring its colourful streets and lively Zócalo. Admire the San Miguel Arcángel Church, a beautiful colonial-era church that stands as the heart of the town. Then, visit Cerro de San Miguel, a small hill offering stunning panoramic views of Atlixco and the surrounding valleys.

Next, stop at Atlixco’s renowned nurseries and flower markets, where you’ll discover why this town is known as the “Flower Capital of Mexico.” Walk among a variety of vibrant plants and flowers, and if you’d like, take home a beautiful souvenir from one of the local vendors.

To complete the experience, we will visit a mezcal Palenque, where you will learn all about the production process of this iconic Mexican spirit. Discover the selection of agaves, stone oven cooking, natural fermentation, and traditional distillation. You’ll also have the chance to taste different varieties of artisanal mezcal, experiencing the unique flavours and aromas of this ancestral drink.
