The tour begins in Castlexperience Office (Top Floor - Section B - Ticket office A, B or C) Estación de autobuses Barcelona Nord (North Bus Station) Carrer d'Alí Bei, 80 (5 min from Arc de Triomf). Upon arrival, you will be assigned to your local English-speaking guide and meet the rest of the group – maximum 20 people!

Montserrat
Located just one hour away from central Barcelona, Montserrat is considered to be the most important mountain in Catalonia. A unique massif famous for its spirituality, its gothic shapes and beautiful views, also ideal for all sort of treks and climbing.

The guided tour* consists of an extended visit throughout the Basilica and Monastery, after which you will have time to explore the site on your own. There are many activities to choose from – you may want to explore the monastery further, visit the museum, make your way to the holy cave, ride a funicular to the top of the mountain, or shop in the Farmer’s Market. You may have the opportunity to listen to l’Escolania de Montserrat, the oldest Boys’ Choir* in Europe.

*L’Escolania does not sing on Saturdays, school holidays, and several dates throughout the year. Tickets must be purchased in advance.

Multi-course meal at a local restaurant

Having lunch at a local restaurant is a compulsory stop after a fulfilling morning like this. We also believe that enjoying the gastronomy and the wine of a region is a great way of getting in touch with its traditions and culture. A seasonal full meal with wine is included and the group will love to listen to all the stories and anecdotes their local guide has ready for them!

Winery tour and tasting

There’s only one way to finish this day off, and that is by visiting one of our local wine producers. We will take our guests to a wonderful wine cellar where they can find out about our traditions and history. A visit around the winery premises will be followed by a delicious tasting of three local wines.
