We will depart from Huaraz at 9:00 AM towards the Marcará district. Taking an eastern detour through the peasant community of Vicos, we enter Huascarán National Park. Following the course of the Paqcharuri ravine, we immerse ourselves in a lush forest of native plants until we reach the fascinating Rocutuyoc Lagoon.
This body of water welcomes us with shades of blue and emerald that change as we explore its surroundings. Additionally, we can admire the frozen lagoon with its impressive ice formations and the majestic peaks of Paccharaju, Bayoraju, and Copa on the horizon.
The vistas of Norte Vicos and Akilpo transform this circuit into one of the most beautiful landscapes of the White Mountain Range. Subsequently, we will explore the rock paintings of Llamaruri and the spectacular Paqcharuri waterfall before returning to the city of Huaraz, concluding our day around 5:30 PM.
