Adding to its allure is the enchanting Hong Lagoon, accessible exclusively by boat through a narrow rock entrance—an absolute highlight of this exquisite island.

(Third Spot) Khao Phing Kan, situated just 40 metres from Khao Tapu, displays an intriguing geological formation. The smaller of its twin peaks tilts at an approximate angle of 75 degrees towards the larger, more robust peak. A sandy stretch of land connects these islands. Originally, Khao Phing Kan stood as a single peak, but geological forces, including the shifting of tectonic plates and erosion by the sea, caused it to split into two, with the smaller peak gradually moving apart. You can ascend the incline of the peak using stairs, and from its summit, you'll be treated to captivating panoramic views of the surrounding bay.

(Highlight Spot) Encompassing an expansive 400 square kilometres, Phang Nga Bay boasts an array of approximately 100 islands, many of which showcase distinctive and peculiar shapes. Among these natural wonders, James Bond Island, characterised by its iconic rocky pinnacle, has garnered significant attention ever since its prominent feature in the 1974 Bond film. Nestled within the protected marine expanse of the Ao Phang Nga Marine National Park, regulations restrict boats from approaching the island too closely. The geological formation of James Bond Island features a substantial upper portion and a relatively slender base, creating its distinctive appearance. Visitors can admire James Bond Island from the vantage point of a boat or the shores of Koh Ping Ghan, a neighbouring island. Koh Ping Ghan, known for its lofty and inclined rock structure, harbours several small caves within its intriguing terrain. Exploring these caves can be an enjoyable and awe-inspiring experience.

(Lunch Spoty) Koh Panyi is a petite island covering approximately 1 rai, featuring around 200 houses. Predominantly inhabited by Thai Muslims, the island's residents make their livelihoods through fishing, vending souvenirs, and serving food to visitors. Notably, Koh Panyi hosts a school and a public health centre, catering to its community's needs. This distinctive island, crowned by a broad-peaked limestone mountain, offers natural protection from the ocean's waves. It also boasts a substantial sandbank, where four small villages have flourished, enveloped by lush mangrove forests and the myriad islands of the Phang-Nga National Marine Park. The island's history traces back to the late 18th century when three Javanese families embarked on a journey from Indonesia to Thailand's Andaman coast.

Koh Yao Yai Island sits in the sparkling blue waters of the Andaman Sea. The name translates as “big long island” - but this is only a comparison to the other Phang Nga Bay archipelago islands.
