This is a women led experience by a women owned company. We are two female tour guide sisters that love to share you our little Oaxaca, it’s culture, it’s markets, it's food, the kindness in our families and artisans that have incredible talent.

Dive into the Zapotec heritage and visit the homes of small families and great women that share their stories. Learn about the skills that women led families keep alive till this day. You will have the opportunity to hear their language, see their hard work and how they have developed over time to be recognised for what they do today.

Cooperatives of women who jumped boundaries to show us what they have been doing for many generations and makes them proud of who they are. The wool rugs made with natural dyes in Teotitlán del Valle, candle making as part of their traditions and the red pottery elaboration in San Marcos Tlapazola.

And the storey of why the shell candles are still a part of the identity of the Zapotec heritage in this little town.
