Blending architectural appreciation, feng shui culture and local economic history, the tour offers a distinctive in-depth look into this vibrant metropolis. Far from being ordinary high-rises, each building boasts unique charm and stories, standing as vivid witnesses to Shenzhen’s extraordinary development.

Our host Nebula has lived in Shenzhen for 20 years and travelled across 10 countries worldwide. Majoring in real estate development and finance, he will guide the full walking tour, sharing untold stories behind local buildings and the incredible growth storey of Shenzhen. Lianhuashan Park is a famous urban green space in Futian District. Perched on the hilltop stands the bronze statue of Deng Xiaoping. Visitors can enjoy lush scenery and a full view of Shenzhen’s CBD skyline. It is a popular scenic spot for sightseeing, leisure and taking photos.

中心书城 (Pass by)

Located north of Shenzhen Civic Centre on Futian Central Axis, Central Book City is a key cultural landmark famed as the world’s biggest single-floor bookshop. We’ll walk across its rooftop towards Civic Centre.

Shenzhen Concert Hall

Right next to Central Book City on Futian Central Axis, it is Shenzhen’s iconic cultural landmark designed by master Arata Isozaki. Its colourful glass facade carries traditional Chinese Five-Element ideas, paired with striking golden tree-shaped ceiling frames inside. Boasting top-tier natural acoustics and a giant local pipe organ, it hosts regular classic concerts. We pause briefly here to admire its artistic architecture amid our city-walk journey.

少年宫站B口 (Pass by)

Shenzhen Children’s Palace, located in Futian CBD, is a landmark science and culture centre for kids. Opened in 2004, it features futuristic architecture with interactive science exhibits, a 4D cinema, and a planetarium. Perfect for family visits and fun learning experiences.

Museum of Contemporary Art & Planning Exhibition
