Discover the Galapagos Islands on an 8-day tour from Guayaquil. Visit the highlands of Santa Cruz, see the Giant Tortoises Ranch, and snorkel at the Tintoreras Islet. Explore the Sierra Negra Volcano and the Cocha Perla.
Day 1: Arrival in Ecuador (Guayaquil). After customs, a representative will transfer you to your hotel for the night.
Day 2: Early departure to Guayaquil Airport for a local flight to the Galapagos (1 hour). Arrive at Baltra, meet your Naturalist Guide, and visit the highlands of Santa Cruz (Giant Tortoises Ranch & Lava Tunnel). Transfer to hotel in Puerto Ayora.
Day 3: Choose one afternoon activity:
- Visit Las Grietas - Alemanes Beach (water taxi & short walk)
- Visit Tortuga Bay - Kayak at Playa Mansa (4-hour hike)
- Visit Playa de la Estacion & Darwin Research Station (walking)
- Visit El Garrapatero Beach (40-minute ride)
Morning free to relax or meditate.
Day 4: Early bus ride to Itabaca Canal to board the yacht for an excursion that includes sightseeing, hiking, snorkelling (equipment provided), and lunch. Return to Puerto Ayora.
Day 5: Public speedboat to Isabela Island. Visit Tintoreras Islet to see marine iguanas, sea lions, and possibly white-tip reef sharks. Snorkel at La Calera, then enjoy free time at the beach in the afternoon.
Day 6: Choose one afternoon activity:
- Visit Tortoise Breeding Centre & Wetlands (transport & medium walk)
- Visit Sierra Negra Volcano (4-hour hike)
- Visit Cocha Perla & snorkel (taxi ride & snorkelling)
Morning free to relax.
Day 7: Visit the famous TUNELES via speedboat. Morning bike ride to Tortoise Breeding Centre & wetlands to see birds. Enjoy a walk around lava formations and lunch on board. Afternoon snorkelling with diverse marine life before returning to the hotel.
Day 8: Early morning flight from Isabela to Baltra, then connect to your local flight back to Guayaquil.
