What you can expect
Begin your journey with a comfortable private transfer from Yerevan and explore the route at your own pace, without a group or guide. This experience combines the freedom of independent travel with a carefully designed audio guide that accompanies you throughout the entire journey. The audio guide is fully flexible — you can pause, rewind, or replay each track at any time. Listen as you walk, explore, or take photos, without interrupting your experience.
As you get into the car, you can start the first audio track. From the very beginning, the experience introduces you to Armenia’s history, culture, and landscapes, turning the road itself into an essential part of the journey.
Your first stop is Charents Arch, where you can take a short break and enjoy one of the most iconic views of Mount Ararat.
You will then continue to Garni, home to the only surviving pagan temple in Armenia, dating back to the 1st century. The audio guide begins at the entrance gates of the complex, allowing you to explore the site step by step. As you move through the fortress and approach the temple, you will uncover the history and meaning behind this remarkable place.
From Garni, head down into the gorge to discover the Symphony of Stones — a striking natural formation of basalt columns created by volcanic activity millions of years ago. During your walk, you may also see a medieval bridge and enjoy freshly brewed Armenian coffee prepared on hot sand.
Next, experience one of Armenia’s most beloved traditions with a lavash baking masterclass. Watch how traditional bread is made in a tonir oven and take part in the process yourself. At the end, enjoy fresh lavash with Armenian cheese and herbs — a simple and authentic local favourite.
The journey continues to Geghard Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site under double protection and partially carved into the rock. As you walk through its chambers, you will not only discover its history but also experience its unique acoustics: the echo here lasts up to 15 seconds — approximately the same duration as medieval prayers once heard within these walls.
Throughout the journey, you are free to explore at your own pace, while the audio guide ensures you always have context and meaning at every stop. This experience is ideal for travellers who value flexibility, comfort, and a deeper connection with Armenia.
