The Gaslamp Quarter is rich in modern character and Victorian-era history, boasting former residents such as Wyatt Earp and other figures from early American history. Travel the Embarcadero that runs along San Diego Bay—connecting residential areas, hotels, and restaurants—to see the city's naval history at the USS San Diego Memorial and the USS Midway.
