What you can expect

The piano concerts by candle glow are dedicated to the outstanding and most popular Polish composer – Fryderyk Chopin. His works are recognised all over the world, and his name ranks among the greatest composers of all time. Chopin’s compositions are considered some of the most beautiful piano pieces in the history of music.
In addition to selected works by Chopin, the programme also includes the most remarkable piano compositions by world-renowned composers such as Bach, Beethoven, Liszt, Schumann, and Rachmaninoff.
What makes our concerts unique is, above all, the venue – the Rectoral Church of the Carmelite Fathers of St. Catherine – a massive Gothic church from the 13th century, known for its outstanding acoustics. The sound of the piano by candle glow within such a space will provide listeners with an unforgettable emotional experience, leaving a lasting memory.
This is the only opportunity in Gdańsk to experience a piano concert in a church!
