What you can expect

This self-guided sightseeing audio walk explores Glasgow through its riverfront, museums, parks, and university quarter.

The route begins at the Riverside Museum on the River Clyde, where the sharp, wave-like roof, broad water, and masts of the Tall Ship Glenlee set the scene. Please note that the entrance to the Museum is free. This in-app audio tour includes a donation to support the Museum and an audio tour of the museum's must-sees and the surrounding area along a planned route.

After you've explored the highlights of a hyper-modern museum with collections of historic vehicles and state-of-the-art interactive displays, follow the waterfront past The Clydeside Distillery, the OVO Hydro, and the Glasgow Science Centre, seeing how former docklands have been reshaped into cultural landmarks. The walk then turns inland to Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, Kelvin Hall, the University of Glasgow, the Hunterian Museum, and Kelvingrove Park.

The tour ends at the Botanic Gardens with its Victorian glasshouses glowing with light.
